activities, literacy games, gardening, water fun days on our natural playground and monthly field trips. Our nature summer camps are fun,

educational experiences for all campers. Children will gain an appreciation for nature by taking nature walks on the Highland State Recreation land surrounding our school. Our classrooms are enriching environments that stimulate children's natural desire to learn. The outdoor environment is an extension of our classroom. Most days are water fun days. While we offer the experiences typically found in child-centered programs we use the inherent wonder, complexity, and beauty of the natural world as a catalyst for children's growth and development. During the course of the day our teachers collect documentation of the children's learning experiences through written observations and photographs. this documentation is put together and transformed into a "Learning Story" that is emailed to families daily. The benefits of this truly unique child-centered preschool program are endless.

Our curriculum during the summer is driven by the interests of the children and framed by the natural cycle of the seasons. Children build knowledge from their first-hand experiences with nature, classroom materials, and their relationships with peers and adults. Register today and allow your child to take on the world!
