Why is your company right for you?
This business is the perfect fit for me as a full-time teacher and busy mom of two young children. I am able to fit my work into little pockets of my day. I usually get my work done after the kids go to bed. Everything is online, so I can do my work from anywhere! All I need is my phone, tablet, or computer! Consultants also do not carry inventory and it is not a party-driven business.
How many, if any, people have you recruited for your team?
I do not have any business partners yet, but I am just getting started! I am truly excited for people to join my team! Please contact me if you are interested!
What are the best perks to your job?
The best perk of my job is helping people love their skin and feel more confident! I remember the renewed confidence I had when I began noticing my results and I want others to feel the same way. Another perk is the support from the other consultants. They are always ready to answer questions and be your cheerleader! I have made some great friends through this business. What is the biggest challenge of your job?
The biggest challenge for me is being ignored or hearing "no" when reaching out to someone about the business opportunity or products. I am learning to not take it personally, though!

I know that I am helping people with their skin and I love that! I believe in the products and the business model that Rodan and Fields has created. In addition, I am excited for the direction my business is headed and how this will have a positive impact on my family!

What do you pay out of pocket every month?
I typically pay $100 out of pocket. However, this is not mandatory and I make it back in sales!
Does your income come from your sales or the sales of the people who you recruited for your team?
The biggest portion of a consultant's income is based on their own sales. As of right now, I have not recruited any business partners, so my income is only based on my sales. When a consultant builds a team with business partners, a small income is made from the team's sales.
What's your favorite product in the line that you recommend?
This is a hard one to answer because I love all of the products I have used! The Reverse Regimen for sun damage is what I started with and I was amazed by my results. My skin became brighter and softer with a more even tone. I no longer need to wear foundation and I was someone who didn't leave the house without it!
What does your income supplement?
Currently, I am able to cover the cost of the products I use and more. This has helped with any extra activities my children are involved in. I can see where my business is headed and I know that I will be able to pay for house projects and family trips soon.
What would it take for you to earn an average, full-time income with your business? $40,000, for example?
This is a 3-5 career and everyone's journey is different. Some consultants who work their business are able to see a full-time income sooner than 3-5 years. Daily activity with your business is necessary to make your business grow!
Advice for anyone looking to get into Direct Sales?
My advice for others considering direct sales is don't be afraid. I never thought I would be a direct sales consultant. Even when I started using the R+F products, I was not considering the business. It took me 6 months of using and loving the products before I decided to jump on the opportunity. I saw my friend's success and I knew I could do it too! I actually wish I would have started sooner!
Direct Sales has a sort of stigma associated with it. How do you respond to that?
People tend to purchase products that their friends have recommended. That is why Rodan and Fields decided to use direct sales for their products. I am sharing and selling these products because they worked for me and I know others will love them just as much!
There are a lot of smart men and women who are in this business. They would not be selling if they did not believe in the high quality products and the business model. As some may believe, it is not fast and easy money. It truly takes commitment, hard work, and good customer service.
